Judy's Jambalaya


 

1-8 oz. Zatarain's Jambalaya

1/2 c. chopped fresh or frozen green or red pepper

1/2 c. chopped onion

1 tsp. turmeric

Follow directions on the box and simmer until the rice is almost done.

Add-

2 c. frozen or fresh okra sliced, optional

12-15 oz sliced smoked sausage of your choice

1- 15 oz. can black beans

Simmer until okra changes color.
